Vintage 1930's Hammersley Thomas Goode Dresden Sprays Teapot.
Gilt accents on white background with a gilt chain pattern around the belly of the pot above which are painted sprays of flowers under a blue and gold trellis motif.
The pot is stamped on the underside with Hammersley & Co. Bone china Made in England, Thomas Goode & Co. stamp, London, and the hand-written number 5/11 and 481 and a small gilt cross.
8" from spout to handle. Approx 5 1/4" wide, approx. 4 1/2" tall.
The gilt work is immaculate as is the rest of the decoration and the teapot as a whole is in excellent condition, remarkable considering that it is close to being a centurion.
Used and selling as is. Please ask for more photographs if required - this really is in remarkable condition though not new.
