TAKAMINE produced the PSF-15C between 1993 and 1999. It was a top quality single-cutaway dreadnought style acoustic with a solid cedar top (DC1 bracing pattern) and bookmatched rosewood back & sides. The PSF-15C had Takamine Accuracoustic electronics - including a palathetic bridge pickup, active preamp and EQ. The finish was natural gloss polyurethane. The PSF-15C had an eye-catching turquoise eagle inlay at the 12th fret. The top binding was ivory with turqoise wood, the soundhole rosette was the Takamine Santa-Fe style (the guitar had a Santa-Fe design soundhole label).
