DUE TO MANY NON-PAYING BIDDERS, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REPORT EACH AND EVERY NON-PAYING BIDDER TO EBAY
    .
In order to determine the shipping cost of an item, I enter the dimensions and weight of the package into EBay's shipping Wizard and that is supposed to automatically give the correct shipping cost based on your zip code.  If you are going to purchase more than one item,
please do not pay until you have completed your purchases
.  Then, please request an invoice with the combined shipping cost on it.  I will always combine shipping
    when it is possible

This auction is for a Vintage 1948-50 (one year only) Madame Alexander Maggie Face ALICE IN WONDERLAND.  She is all original, with the exception of her pinafore.  I put the one on her that she is wearing.  In my opinion, it might be a little small for her, but I thought it would be better than none.  You could make or have one made, or possibly find one.  Her once blue dress has faded through the years to sort of a pinkish color.  The fabric that Madame Alexander used then, seemed to do that for most dolls.  I measure Alice as 17 inches tall.  The bottom snap on the back of her dress has only 1/2 of the snap attached and the other side (missing) where the other half of the snap was, looks to need a few stitches.  That could be done when the snap is replaced, should you decide to do that.  She is wearing her original undies and seamed stockings.  I want to mention that there is a small squarish piece of tape on the back of her leg.  Please see picture.  I did not attempt to remove it.  There is some writing on it, and I am assuming it most likely identified the little girl that owned her.  It looks like you could take it off, but like I said many times, I do not work on or do anything to the dolls.  Since the pinafore couldn't damage her, I did add that for you.
I want to mention that I purposely left her shoes unsnapped.  Both snaps look OK to me, but I didn't want to add any stress or possible damage to them.  So I left them unsnapped.
My Madame Alexander Value book, values her at 0.00 UP.  Of course my price is WAY lower.  I like to add the value when I can, so that some of our friends who may not have a value book, can get idea of the value of some of the dolls.
I took several pictures.  Some are with flash, some are not.  That was because on some things the flash washed it out and I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this beautiful doll.

Please view the pictures, as they are a large part of the description.
I try to give a good description, but I could miss something that is important to you.  So, please ask any questions you have before bidding.
I am a retiree that enjoys selling on EBay for something to do. I have a smoke free, pet free home.  I do combine shipping whenever possible. EBay requests that you use the "add to cart" button if you are going to purchase more than one item.  That will help with your combined shipping.  I am not a business, so I cannot sell on approval.  I use EBay calculator for shipping and it is supposed to give the shipping amount based on your zip code.  That should give the minimum shipping cost.  I do not charge a shipping fee, or for shipping supplies, nor for transportation to and from the post office.  If you have questions, please ask them before you bid.  If you have special payment needs, please talk to me before you bid.  I will leave feedback when I know you have received your item and are happy with your purchase.
If you have any problems, please contact me and let me know.
I cannot correct a problem that I do not know exists.
I am honest and try to describe items as best I can, however, I could miss something that is important to you.  So, if you have questions, please feel free to ask.  I will do my best to answer your questions.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my auctions.  I appreciate that.
