Beautiful antique 19" composition baby doll unmarked by her maker.
good condition doll, very clean and tidy - ready to be displ
ayed
legs and toes in good condition, there are scuffs, scratches, and some paint repairs to the toes.  also a little bit of composition loss to the tips of the toes
arms and fingers are in fair condition, there are some big cracks on one of the arms and crazing throughout both arms.  the fingers are all present but it looks like there is some chipped composition on one finger and repairs to the tips
torso is made of cloth in good condition, no major damage just common wear from age
head in good condition, there is cracks from age and crazing, the hair is molded little girl styled brown hair
face in good condition, doll had blue sleepy eyes that work properly when she is laid down, her face paint is in very good condition
she does have a crier, I can feel it but I can't hear it - it does not seem to work
doll appears to be circa 1930's and is unmarked by the maker.
baby is wearing a white christening gown and slip gown underneath and underwear shorts, all of which are very old antique items as well.
Also she comes with an antique bonnet, crochet fancy yellow bib, rhinestone heart, and an antique old rattle - I have a few extra pictures of the clothes that don't fit on here, I can send them to you through messaging if you are interested in seeing them

sleepy eyes work properly and open/shut with ease, the blue eyes are gorgeous
comes with antique clear multi-colored rattle that actually rattles when shook
this baby doll was heavily loved and cherished by my mother, it was one of if not "the" favorite baby doll she owned, and she had so many!  I would be happy to know this baby goes to a warm and comforting good new home
