    Description

    Vintage Madame Alexander
"Cherry Twin" Wendy Doll 1957, Model #388E. Made in USA. She is wearing all original outfit, tagged
    "Alexander-Kins"
cherry-embroidered organdy dress, underwear, hat, socks and shoes.
Bented bent knee walker hard plastic body marked "Alex" on back. Sleepy eyes work well. Painted lips, eyebrows and lower eyelashes. This beautiful doll measures 8." tall. This is bented knee walker. Her right knee bends, but left not so. When legs are moved, there is very little movement of the head. When the head is turned to the sides, the legs move. Perhaps the stringing is not perfect since the doll is very old. I do not know much about it and this is the best I can describe it. Her arms stay up if positioned that way. No stand. Some age-related browning to the dress, and a small age-related  hole on the back, below the waist.
No attempt at cleaning or repair has been made, this rare collectible is being sold as found at estate sale. Will ship within 1 business day.
